The name "Scorpion" is used for a battlemech, tank, and a Comstar operation to try to take over the Inner Sphere. The HRP-1A is not related to the Clan's protomech, and doesn't have any sort of similar feel or familiarity with that protomech whatsoever.

Our clients were adamant about keeping their design under 10 million C-Bills, so we may have to forego the cup holders to keep the Battlemech within their price range.
