The production Fusillade is a Dark Age-era equipment that is the maturation of the Fusillade weapon system (now called "Prototype Fusillade").

The new system is essentially an ATM system stripped down to its absolute bare essentials. The launcher is constructed out of an extremely lightweight (but not particularly durable) polymer and the Artemis IV had to be sacrificed, but the and is far, far lighter than the original and can be mounted on a variety of unit types. The Fusillade still lacks any more than a single reload for the launcher, however, so it cannot replace other missile launchers and basically functions as a clan Rocket Launcher.

The Improved Fusillade features Streak capabilities at the cost of doubling the weight for this advanced guiding system.

FUSILLADE
Flavors available for BA, MECH, Vehicles, and Fighters
Weight: .25 tons (Mechs, Vehicles, Fighters, Protomechs), 150kg (BA)
Crits:1 (non-BA), 3(BA)
Cost:25,000 C-Bills
Damage/Range/Etc: Follows ATM rules (minus the integral Art IV) and has 1 integral reload like a prototype Fusillade launcher
Compatible with all ATM and iATM ammunition

IMPROVED FUSILLADE
Flavors available for MECH, Vehicles, and Fighters
Weight: .5 tons
Crits:1 (all units)
Cost:50,000 C-Bills
Damage/Range/Etc: Follows iATM rules and has 1 integral reload like a Fusillade Launcher

For all Fusillade Launchers:
While the minimalistic polymer allows for extremely lightweight missile launchers, it lacks in strength and durability. The number of times a Fusillade (Standard and Improved) has been fired over its lifetime should be tracked during campaign play.

The Fusillade can operate error-free for the first 6 launches. Afterwards, a roll of 4 during the firing phase will cause the Fusillade to malfunction: The barrage will automatically miss and the the Fusillade will be considered to be irrepairably damaged (If a reload remains, the ammo can still detonate on a critical hit or due to overheating).

This isn't usually considered a major issue as the Fusillade is more or less a disposable weapon system and old launchers are periodically replaced with new ones.
