Capellan Front – 8th Wave and Territory Occupied by Davion after the Lull (January 3030):-
With the war winding down with the 8th and final wave the AFFS rushed to gain as much territory – especially industrial worlds – as possible. The AFFS were able to transfer forces occupy the worlds of:- Ingersoll, Bithinia, Propus, Masterson, Eom, Boardwalk and Jasmine.
The Davion Heavy Guards RCT and the Davion Light Guards RCT however were thereafter sent to capture the worlds of Ares (dropship production) and Necromo (‘Mech production). However, prior to, the arrival of these AFFS forces secret negotiations between them and St. Ives resulted in both Necromo and Ares becoming part of the St Ives Compact (nt:- both worlds however were garrisoned by both AFFS and St Ives forces due to their key Industries).

Territory Occupied by House Marik - Betelgeuse
Taking advantage of the 4th Succession War, as it was winding down, the Duchy of Andurien would invade and Capture the Confederation world of Betelgeuse (due to the absence of Warrior House Kamata - the majority of which was transferred to the front of the war). This important world, being a major BattleMech production centre, and with over 20 commercial factory complexes producing over 30percent of all Capellan consumer and luxury goods is an important economic and military target.
Thus the Captain-General, Janos Marik, would have provided tacit approval of the acquisition of the world into the Free World’s League - additional troops would be sent to garrison the world from any future Capellan retaliation. This would have been seen as a bright spot in an otherwise depressing outcome for the Free Worlds League’s army during the 4th Succession War.
Retaliation by Capellan Forces would also be difficult as their military would be in no position to retake the world in early 3030.

All three of these worlds are extremely important military targets of opportunity.
Can anyone say OOOPS! When writing the 4SW …..
And when you refer to the N.A.I.S. The Fourth Succession War Military Atlas Volume 2 Jan 3029 – Jan 3030 – Map page 41 – refer Territory Occupied by Davion after Lull
What you will find is a completely different map than all the maps going forward.
These maps conform to the old CC states lines – someone was very lax in not updating this and going forward from there they repeated the same old mistake, never once thinking to go back and correct this error ….
A mistake of this size should be highlighted ….

And then there is Capella, the second most important world in the Capellan Confederation – and right on top of the final Border with the Federated Suns.
One can only wonder why this world was also not taken in the 8th Wave considering its importance to the people of the Capellan Confederation.

During the Star League Era Necromo was best known as a minor shipping and transportation hub between the Capella and St. Ives Commonalities. During the Succession Wars Era it became more important, and was frequently raided by the Federated Suns.[26]
While a relatively undeveloped world of rolling hills and forests, Necromo was of immeasurable importance to the Capellan military thanks to the self-contained DropShip repair facility and shipyard located in the system. The sole industry of the planet, with all goods and services having to be imported from off-world, operations in the system were so secret that only the intensely loyal workers were allowed on world, with no visits from family members and stringent censorship of all inbound and outbound communication.[1][26]
Necromo was a drop ship production world, not a mech producer. So where the information they made mechs seems to conflict with the wiki and objective raids.
Aries also built 2 mechs.

still does not dispute the importance of these worlds.
Also as per the original map re 4SW they were taken by the FS - a point in which all other maps then on just ignored.

Also with the final wave the AFFS would have moved upon Capella – The former Capellan Confederation Capitol World would have been a coup for the AFFS and a nail in the coffin for the CC.
Ultimately I contend that with forces available the AFFS would have targeted this world.
Or a joint strike with St. Ives could have targeted Capella as a means of destabilizing the new Chancellors rule.
