How much infantry is in 24 tons, a Company or a Battalion's worth? If 3 tons is a platoon, and 12 tons is four platoons, how much is 8 platoons of infantry?

Is it a company?

Currently designing a 200-ton Superheavy MFB / Mobile HQ / Field Hospital / Field Kitchen / Troop Transport Boondoggle with a C3 Master, Guardian ECM Suite and 24-tons of Infantry alongside 7-tons Comms Equipment, 6-tons of Cargo, 4-tons of Liquid Storage, and Enviromentally Sealed Chassis, Lift Hoist Advanced Fire Control and one single MIGHTY ER MEDIUM LASER for protection. Oh, and Hardened Armor. It mounts a Cockpit Command Console too, along with Off Road modification. Yep; 110,692,550 C-Bils and BV2: 1655... definitely cost-ineffective. And more than a little impractical.

It IS a one stop shop for Infantry deployments, though. Despite only getting 2/3 with an XL Engine...

As per Techmanual's errata, infantry weighs .085 tons per footsoldier, .195 tons per motorized, and .165 tons per jump trooper, with Anti-'Mech equipment increasing weights by .015 tons per soldier if so equipped. IS infantry structures follow a "rule of three": 3 platoons a company, 3 companies a battalion, and so on.
