Reminds me of the dual ac 20 mech from 3025. Love the idea. At least this has some range to it. Not having to hide around corners for someone to get near. The armor is a bit low for a 95 ton mech, but no weight to really mess with, unless you pull a ton of ammo. But the damage/range means a lot of units will try to stay away from this until the ammo is gone. One suggestion might be upgrade to ermls. It will run hot, if you did. I can see price being a reason to avoid this.
A few will suggest xl cockpit or xl gyro, but I would say avoid it.

(why's that ghost? excluding small cockpit and XL gyro means the only other way to get more armor tonnage is to put an XL engine in, i.e. decrease survivability, and greatly increase cost.)
I can't help but compare this to the Fafnir, specifically the almost-identical FNR-5X.
https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Fafnir
Both have dual CASE-shielded iHGRs, and standard engines. This design stands out just a bit ahead of the Fafnir because of the ER large laser. An out-of-ammunition Fafnir only has medium range weapons; the ER large laser means DOOM could be relevant in a fight after the heavy gausses run dry.
This design is too lightly armored though. 12.5 tons is light, especially in the modern era. You do have exactly two crits left, so re-site the CT ammo elsewhere and put an XL gyro in. No fists means this thing won't brawl well anyway, so do a small cockpit for another ton. Those alterations could bring the armor tonnage up to 15. Still 4.5 less than the Fafnir, but better.

The min/max concept is why you don't go that route. Plus every other unit seems to have the small cockpit and xl gyro. I would think the builders would have issues getting the stuff. But the game doesn't cover that, so it isn't relevant.
If this wasn't a game, few would want to get into any unit with a small cockpit. That would mean alot of units not bought, or pilots not being able to do much with it. Granted, the lighter armor would have the quartermasters looking to avoid it, as the cost verse losing it quickly comes to mind.

The Fafnir was exactly what I was thinking of when I made this. And the ER Large could theoretically be replaced with a couple ER Mediums and more armor.
