I am assuming the engine is fusion.

Not sure why the IS loved to swap the ppc for large pulse lasers, as the range on the pulse bites big time. Better to hit, but the loss of range is too much in my opinion.

Except for the added cost, would the 3058 version be better with Ferrous fiber armor? A little extra protection. Maybe not.

One more suggestion. Maybe having lrms in the 3039 version instead of the srm 4's might work better.
Thinking staying at range, so the mls and such are unable to hit you. But then that starts getting into the cookie cutter mode.
