==Overview:==
Raising to a height pf nine meters tall, the Pallas represents a perfect
balance of speed, firepower and protection, allowing it to undertake a wide
variety of roles in battle. 

Mechwarriors who have piloted a Palllas take great pride in their ability to
carry out a variety of missions on the battlefield.

The Pallas’s all-terrain capability means it can move more quickly through
terrain which would be hazardous to traditional vehicles and reposition itself
to engage the enemy as needed. Its primary weapon, the long-ranged rapid-fire
Avenger 7000 LB-X Class 10 and the Magna Supernova Heavy Class Particle
Projection Cannon, gives it the capacity to engage a variety of targets and
provide fire support.


For protection from enemy fire, the Pallas can rely on twin Diplan M3-XR
Extended Range Medium Lasers and Diplan Pulse Light Small Pulse Laser the
other in a swivel mount on its head. 


==Variants:==
Several variants exist, mostly dropping the Heavy Particel Projection Cannon
in favor of either a long range missiles system or another class of
autocannon.

Rumors of a Gauss Rifle equipped verison have been reported but no proof
provided.
