Designer's Notes:
--- The T35-ATA 35-Ton Armored Truck (Amphibious), usually just known as the "Duck Truck" or as "35-Ton Trucks" is a rather ubiquitous combat Vehicle throughout the Inner Sphere. Although costing more than a standard APC, and possessing next to nothing in the way of armor; the T35-ATA has still proven cost effective as a mule, particularly in areas where insurgents or partisan forces are operating. Able to truck three tons of Infantry across most terrain and even across bodies of water with two ton and a half Cargo Bays allocated for whatever support gear they may have, the "Duck Truck" acquits itself well despite it's shortcomings. Mounting a total of four tons of Communications Gear also allows the T35-ATA to provide additional support, making it an excellent inclusion for convoys and Amphibious Landings.
--- The layout of T35-ATA consists of a cavernous Infantry Bay accessed from a forward deploying ramp at the front of the vehicle. Both of it's ton and half Cargo Bays are accessed from within the Infantry Bay itself. It's Wheeled Motive System is configured for six wheels total, in a 3x3 arrangement. The hull itself is wider than it is long, giving it a squat, squarish appearance. In addition to headlights, it also carries front mounted flood lights which tend to protrude upwards in a manner not unlike a pair of big, bright eyes.
--- It utilizes a three man crew consisting of a Driver, Radio Operator and Hatch Gunner / Observer. While no weapon is mounted in any form of turret, the hatch features a place to mount infantry scale support weapons i.e. machine guns and the crew cabin provides a half ton stowage compartment for any of their miscellaneous gear (binoculars, Paramedic Gear, extra clothing, snacks, etc.) as well as housing the unit's three tons of additional Communications Gear.
(NOTE: Combat Vehicles are assumed to have integrated equipment equivocal to a single ton of Communications Gear.)
