--- The model DRG-XN Dragon is a variant of the infamous 60-ton Kuritan Heavy 'Mech which is built from the ground up with an Endo-Steel Chassis and makes use of Advanced Technology. Built alongside the Dragon II in an attempt to make use of existing Dragon manufacturing lines, the DRG-XN makes use of the same chassis and armor as the Dragon II. The DRG-XN mounts the rather common Vlar 300 XL Fusion Engine as it's power plant, propelling it to a maximum ground speed of 86.4 kp/h. Thirteen Double Heat Sinks afford this variant of the Dragon enough cooling capacity to make judicious use of it's payload.
--- For a main armament, the DRG-XN fits a Mydron Model RC Rotary Autocannon, Class-5; while this is supplemented by a Lord's Light 5 Snub-Nose PPC at closer ranges. A single Telos DecaCluster LRM-10 provides the DRG-XN with some long range punch, while a MacArthur Anti-Missile System helps to protect it from the same. A Diverse-Optics Sunbeam ER Medium Laser rounds out the unit's armament while the DRG-XN's weapons are supplied with adequate ammunition reserves: two tons for the Rotary Autocannon and a single ton each for the LRM and it's Anti-Missile System. All of the torso-mounted ordinance is protected by a CASE II, which helps to mitigate the frailty of the 'Mechs eXtralight Fusion Engine, as well as preventing a chain-explosion if the Autocannon ammo were to explode.
