Would, if given the chance, the Inner Sphere copy these? Granted for the most part they seem to be normal IS lasers with some improvements.
Or would groups like NAIS and others like it, use the lasers as bases for a new weapons type or not?

Probably. The Inner Sphere slavishly copies anything the Clans used, including omnimechs.
