Okay, maybe not that shocking. On the user list there are 13 1/2 pages (out of 21) of people that have posted less than ten times here. 6 of those pages are filled with people that have never posted anything. If it's this bad here, I hate to ask what it's like at CBT.

That may be true, but there are some of us who have been around for a long time, but who just don't post very often. I only post on something that I really am interested in, not just to "hear myself type" or bump up my rank. Perhaps some people just like to observe and only step in when necessary....

It's amazing that everyone who post more often than you is a loudmouth and everyone who posts less often is a lurker. Kind of like dealing with the velocities of every other car on the road, they are either too slow, or driving unsafely.
By following this logic, only I post at a reasonable rate.

But reading the other posts I have come up with a suitable solution to our semantic quandry. (How's that for high-falootin vocabulary) Lurkers are those who join up but never post. Loiterers are those who post but occasionally. As for the rest, well, ya'll are just gonna have to figure that out for yourselves. :P
