While it's not a glorious death in battle, as the Russians might tell you, there are worse ways to die in Afghanistan than having Americans mistake you for bombing targets.

True...
It just seems strange...Americans get shot down over enemy territory, Canadians get bombed by their allies.
In the US, presidents get assassinated.
In Canada, a guy uses a toy gun to hijack a bus on Parliament Hill, and the Prime Minister chases off a burgler with a soapstone carving :-\

I roomed with a Canadian one quarter in college. I knew he was Canadian because:
1) He told me so
2) The big Canadian flag on the wall
3) The big, red maple leaf tattoo on his shoulder
4) He told me so
I have no questions about Canadian psychology.
