Well, that was easy.........
Light a fire for a man, and you keep him warm for one night,
Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Not unless it contains the unseen, and those are in general my favorites.

But if you look at the question it does. If you said 3067 as your favorite timeline then you get all of the mechs ever made. Being 3067 on back. My fav is 3050 since in the original TRO had all of the unseen. Anyway thats my two bits.

Any time after the fall of the Star League up to and including the Battle of Tukkayyid. Basically the period of time where I can actually use and see the unseens in a TRO and other source material.

Should that read "time frame" instead of "time line"?
I would vote "The time of Mackies" if it was an option.

FA$A went through all the work and expense of developing the story and intruducing advanced technology, etc. and it seems most of the dedicated players prefer the original timeline!

I meant that TRO 3067 doesn't have the unseen. I voted for 3025 'cause although 3050 hade the unseen, the pic's were less than stellar and the whole clan thing ruined it for me.

Well, the original story was so much better. The clans took a universe of grays and shadowy intrigue and made it black and white, good vs clans.

No, the IS saw the Clans as a way to rally and try to get over their "grays and shadowy intrigue" but that only lasted a few years. Once Victor beat up the Crusaders, the Inner Sphere returned to betrayal as normal.

As it should be, but the clans are still there as a big boggyman. Still too clean cut for me. Then again, I never played Hanse and Katrina as Stackpolian goody two shoes either.....
