Ok, I am a ground pounder, I can't find the AT2 rule book or set anywhere, SO how is damage recorded against dropships? Because whenever I land one we have to use CF and weapons are in all directions.. and the CF doesn't help much of anything, so how do I record mech type damage against them?

It has locations, armor on each and a to hit chart. Just like a huge BattleMech. They don't have a CF or an IS, as such. when the armor is destroyed in a location, that location is destroyed. If you can get a hold of "DropShips and JumpShips" you can use the stats in there for landed dropships.

I know about landing um' but I don't know how to record damage against them. Are those little box's the same as mech circles? Or do they count for more? I was just asking cuz it seems like they should.

1 point of capital scale damage is the same as 10 points of mech scale damage.

If you are using AT2. If you're using the original rules, it's 1 to 1.

By original version I believe you mean AeroTech, not BattleSpace, since capital scale was introduced in the latter (and AT2 can be considered AT3 actually)

Yep, exactly. The first boxed AT, as well as the sourcebook DropShips and JumpShips.
