Interesting, and exceedingly damaging for such a light warship (or, in fact, for anything but a cruiser plus.)
Why the AC/2s?

The AC2 should be AC10s....I will change that...
To me the idea here is actually rather silly and if a friend hadn't being complaining about it...one that I don't would have come up. His biggest problem is that you can pack a lot of MGs on warship and they can actually do damage in mass to another warship...to him this is not reasonable or right.
I will be building another version of this that actually uses naval weapons....

I'd say just add a couple BC launchers and be done with it; with that much conventional firepower, it'd be a waste to replace it with {criminally inefficient} capital weapons.
AC/10s make more sense. Although, I'd say maybe LGRs? You'd keep your Extreme range that way. And it *is* freaky that MGs are as efficient as small lasers...

While the Firepower is impressive you have to bring the ship in close to really get the most out of it...thus it becomes a huge target for the return fire and with the mixed weapons on another ship that could be a big problem since here it takes entire arcs to really hurt the other ship while that one can do compariable damage with one gun.
I see your point and my friend's as well, I just don't like loopholes and this is one such idea...

True, true. I'd say scrap the AC/2 (or 10s) maybe, and go for a few B'cuda launchers with minimum ammo. IMHO it's not worth trying to go for a threshold-beater, and BCs give you that nice -2 in addition to roughly the same performance (if not a tad better) than capital energy weapons.
