Yes, I know Tommy-Boy isn't a real Marik...but does he know it? Wasn't he trained to ACT like one?
I've never bought the idea that he didn't give a crap about Isis, and even if he did, Sun-Tzu's treatment of her constitutes a slap in the face for Marik. You think he'd stand there and take it?
Besides, when was the last time a Marik ignored an exposed Liao backside?
The war would be short and vicious, with Marik gaining a few border worlds before their mercenaries were exhausted. Commit the FWLM to offensive operations? You're MAD!

For a change why don't Lieo win just for once. Anyway it would be fun to see how there new mechs do agaist the FWLM. If that realy runs agaist the grain Davion can turn the tables by attacking Lieo's exposed rear.

True, the Marik would not attack the Liao.
Isis does not seemed to be too concerned about the treatment she suffered from Sunny. She's with Victor now, (as friend or paramour, who knows) and could probably care less about her former Cappy fiancee'.
As for Liao victories, I point to the whole Xin Sheng movement, farce that it is.
If the FWL was not in the hip pocket of WoB, they would most certainly kick Liao butt, provided that the FWLM/FWLN were used and not mercs.

Having both sides use WoB for communications is one of the reasons why I think Marik wouldn't attack Liao unless Thomas took control of WoB himself (and thus would control Liao communications).
Militarily though it would be a walk in the park for the Mariks, their large usage of mercenaries (though this could be declining through increasing WoB infection of marik assets) and their excellent supply lines coupled with usually mobile forces.

Can't be too sure about that, Scott. House Liao seems to have garnered the ever-important Favour of the Gods (writers) at the moment. So, despite being outnumbered 8 billion to 1, the Liao forces would claim easy victories in every battle they fought, then turn their attention to the rest of the Sphere, eventually crushing every house and destroying the remianing Clans. Think that's unlikely? Consider the WoB Jihad.
I don't think the Free Worlds League will go head-to-head with the Capellans. If attacked, they will defend themselves. If not, they will sit quitely and wait, selling off 'Mechs and parts to anybody with enough cash to buy them

Over with by Christmas, depending on when it starts.
Six months to a year sounds about right. FWL will only have the guts to attack while the CCAF is off-balance due to its own recent offensive.
CCAF counter-offensives would extend the war a little, but be quickly blunted and leave them with even less available force.

Well if the FWLM sent in some Knight of the innerspehere and some other FWL units they would be kickin arse. Since the Knights get top priority they would obviously have a few Grand titans along with some fresh outta factory omnis.
