Okay I was playing around with some of the mechs and trying to play a little bit of homage to Sun of Fang Dougram, and I came up with the following mech based off what I know about the Dougram mecha...now my questions are:

Should I have gone with an AC10 over the PPC?

Should I keep the dual SRM 2 racks?

Should the mech have jump jets?

Let me know what you think.

SRM4 is better than 2 SRM2's less heat same tonage and less crits used
I personaly view the PPC as a supirior weapon but it depends on terrain. With this design as it has the heat sinks to fire it I think you should keep with the PPC.
Jump jets are up to your style of play. I like them but i know people who never use them.
Not a bad design in my view. Fair old bit of firepower at all ranges and its fast. Could do with a lot more armor realy would hate to see the damage a Hunchback could do to this mech.

I can go with a SRM 4 for this one...I can add more armor if I lower the speed...or go with Level 2 tech.

I say go with the SRM4 and 1 ton of ammo and add another ton of armor.
That will help a little. I would also consider dropping a heat sink or 2 to add some more armor.
