All weapons are in Fore, Broadsides, and aft arcs. The Naval lasers can cause a DropShip, especailly a pirate one, to pause and make it think twice before engaging the Liberty transport. On plus, its very cheap, can be transport by a standard jumpship, have good level of firepower for its defense, good armor and SI. Just like the Liberty class transports of WW2, they are slow, but carry a lot of cargo and can be produce in numbers. The Liberty class Transport Monitor can carry a platoon or 28 of the marines and a single squadron of 6 fighters. It can also carry 100 passenger, 20 of which enjoy the comforts that come with the 1st class quarters. For transporting the cargo from the Liberty to the planet or a space-based facility, it carry 14 small crafts for the job. It also only weight in at 200k. You can get 3 Liberty Class Transports that can be carry by a Star Lord and carry cargo more than 320-350k tonnages (Have not inputed in FCS weight yet).
