Training Bug

OK, my training cancelled during the time Nev was down, so I was pretty bummed about losing like 4 million N-Bills...
So I just put my units into training for 40 days once more...
and...
Unit Name CO Name Current Skill Days Left MON-67 Mongoose "Ice Ferret" 8 / 5 39d 18h JVN-10N Javelin "Icetooth" Matt Young 7 / 3 39d 19h
in 30 minutes, my Mongoose skilled down from 8/8 to 8/5, and my Javelin from 8/4 to 7/3! Is this a bug?(and if it is, Randy, don't fix it)

Training now does its "skill down" calculations at the start of the time and applies them at once, but you now can't cancel out of training once started..

worse if I get attacked I can't get my units out of training. My counter attack and offensive units were in near constant training but now I can't do that. Why didn't anyone thing of asking if we wanted this its a daft idea and unrealistic anyway. Challenger

If they'd implemented it a few days sooner I would have been up the creek without a paddle.

The loss of existing training was unrelated to the new training system. ( which has the benefit of less lag and easier to see who trains, but has the downside of no cancellation.)
The training data was irrevocably lost - so randy cant compensate anyone at all. On the other hand, training wasnt working anyway, so you wernt getting train downs! Heh.

Thank you for summing that up pretty much perfectly Challenger.
I know that in all reality, it's Randy's game, but I would think he'd look for general opinions about this stuff before he changes it.
Isn't that what one of these forums is all about?
