Also a new release by Walter H. Hunt, The Dark Wing, good space war novel with some interesting twists. Hyperion Fall of Hyperion then the sequal series... Endymion Rise of Endymion Tough to get through, but excellent tech ideas. And outstanding deep-space battle logistics. One of the funniest sci-fi books I've ever read. The "Heritage Trilogy" by Ian Douglas, aka William H.
