Greetings!
I need a rule clarification on critical hits to vehicles. I read that a vehicle make take a critical hit on a roll of 2 or 12 on the hit location. Is an additional "Determining Critical Hits" roll needed if that attack damages internal structure? Or, is just one roll made?

It's identical to when you roll a '2' on a mech.
IIRC, that means: you only get 1 chance to do a critical.
If there's some armor left, you get the free chance for a critical hit. If you blew through the armor and did internal damage, you get one normal chance to do critical hits.
However, rather than quote me, I'd check the rules on what happens when you roll a '2' on a mech's hit location (center torso - critical).
