Designers Notes:
Well, she is the first true warship, so...
KF drive calculated as 70% of the ship's mass.
Engine mass is twice that of normal.
Jump sail mass is twice that of normal.
Bridge mass is twice that of normal.
Armor calculated at 0.2 per ton.

Overview:
The first warship designed as such. Admiral McKenna laid down the specifications for the new warship. When Terra first began colonizing the stars many wanted a way to haul goods and materials from the new colonies, ships that would be able to fight off any pirates that were also popping up during the great migration. the first combat jumpship was the TAS Charger. Launched in 2122 with 5 other ships she was the first line of defense for 178 yrs. constant upgrades and time soon spelled the end of her and her sisters. In 2295 Admiral McKenna was given command of the fledgling alliance space navy. Dissatisfied at the lack of ships the Admiral put out a call for a new warship design and received several designs, but settled on one the Dreadnaught. She was a mighty vessel for her day, carrying experimental missile bays, experimental Autocannons and reliable naval lasers she adn later ships were adequate for the tasks ahead.

Capabilities:
Her impressive weapons loadout, for her day, was demonstrated on June 2, 2315 when Admiral McKenna destroyed two unihabited islands. Since then she served the front line of defense until launching of the Monsoon Class Battleship in 2368.

Deployement:
On the fateful month of June when the entire fleet assembled at Mars, 6 Dreadnaught's and 27 Dart's gathered to stop the carnage on Terra. only the loss of the Dart class Yalu and Wildcat marred the fleet action during that troubled month. the THS Dreadnaught continued to serve as the backbone of the Terran Hegemony Navy for 68 yrs.
The class was kept in service for 80 yrs then slowly was phased out, many were sold to the various new interstellar goverments, many were scrapped.
She was a short lived class that lives on in the New Black Lion Battlecruiser built by the Star League.
The Dreadnaught served in all major conflicts and only 12 vessels survived to see the launch of the new Battleship Monsoon. Only one ship survives today, the THS Black Lion, flagship of Admiral McKenna. She is a floating museum ship over terra and has had all weapons and engines removed.

IMO, the KF drive would've been lighter. Because the Dreadnought predates "real" dropships by 200 years, jumpships had to do all their own cargo hauling to and from jump points. IMO, they probably had KF drives on the order of 70% of their vessel mass. Once dropships and the jumpship/dropship combination stabilized, jumpships were paired down to a bare minimum beyond the drive, hence the drive was 95% of their mass.

A warship, then, would stand out for having a lighter and more efficient drive than merchant ships. Armed vessels that predated the Dreadnought (like the TAS Charger) just used the same ~70% KF drive as merchant ships - "armed jumpships" vs "true warships." Maybe 60 or 50% of the mass would be more accurate.

Otherwise, it seems like an excellent reproduction of the Dreadnought.

well you could be correct but i had a conversation with the person who is currently semi-coaching me on designing warships who agrees that 70% would fit a ship of this age.
as i said you might be right, but im going to stick with what is wrote and stand by my creation.
