The Tour

"Here are the soldier's barracks. We currently have many soldiers stationed in the Legion." His brother nodded,
"Very impressive Searo."
"Thank you Zetro. Our military consists of two companies of tanks, ready to assemble at my command, and this is my tank."
"A Pegasus? How ironic that you pilot a Pegasus, yet I own the Pegasus Mercenary Company."
"Indeed brother."
Two men were slowly walking around the troop encampment. One sported a black and red dress uniform, heavily decorated, and the other wore a more plain white and gold uniform. Bodyguards kept their distance. Another man in red and black appeared ordering a Striker to roll over to a nearby city. Searo Ficha spoke,
"Captain! I would like for you to meet my brother, Zetro Ficha, Zetro, this is Jyte Dalaran, the Captain of the Legion."
Zetro smiled, and shook Jyte's hand. The Captain was young for such a prestigious position, probably only 30 or 35. They continued the tour, passing several tanks on their way to a dropship.
"This will take us to the capital city, New Ficha, brother."
"What happened to the old one?"
Searo's grin faded, and he looked remorseful, and then angry.
"Slaughtered. Only myself, my son, my wife, some military staff, and 100 civilians escaped."
Zetro was silent, he hadn't meant to re-open this old wound. They climbed into the dropship, and the pilot turned around. He looked much like Searo, only much younger.
"Hey dad, hello Uncle Zet, sit back and enjoy the ride!"
The younger Searo Ficha turned back around and gunned the engines, they quickly reached the capital, which was a few kilos away.

As they were strolling down Ondagar Lane, which was dedicated in memory to the first Mech pilot, and first casualty of the Black Ice War, Nitryll Ondagar, Zetro chuckled.
"Hey, did I tell you what the people call me?"
Searo was puzzled, "No, why?"
"Well, when we first arrived, a stray PPC shot from a nearby battle lit our only resi on fire. Naturally being the CiC of 100 scared civvies, I had to help. Me and about 25 other guys battled that blaze for several hours before our neighbor sent relief fire response hovercraft. Since I was extra-aggressive against putting that flame out, they nicknamed me Flameseeker."
"Nice, Uncle Zet, it's got a ring to it."
"I thought so too."
"Well I'm the Whizkid, according to Jyte. He gave me my nickname. Dad, tell him yours."
"Ace. I got that one for being the best mech pilot these people have ever seen."
They reached the capital building, and Jyte departed to tend to some homeland security issues. Minor things like relocating a lance or placing a Hetzer in the right spot.
"I heard you're in the Engineering Vehicle business, Zetro."
"Well, we do own seven due to the low maintenance. They help the crews out a lot."
"Our crews are well-trained, they don't need any expensive EVs."
"But how much do you pay for them?"
Searo was silent, and they entered the capital, a large red complex. Searo Jr's stomach growled,
"Dad, let's take Uncle Zet to Blake's Burger Barn, he'll love that."
"Sounds good to me, how bout you brother?"
"I'm fine with it, we don't have fancy restaraunts in my empire, just small businesses."

As soon as anything remotely interesting happens in my empire, I'll post. Sadly, this hasn't happened yet, we're hoarding money for a mech after hoarding money for an emergency 40M fund.

I know what you mean, Been working on my emp alot trying to get my steath towers, But I do have a nice army build up though.
