Zetro stepped off the dropship into the dark. The ride had lasted several hours, and it was now around 2 in the morning. He had slept part of the way, but still felt groggy. He threw a few nev-credits at the pilot of the battered gold and white craft, "Thanks for the ride, Willy." "Anytime, lad-Flam-Zetr-sir." Zetro laughed at the uncertainty of what to call him, a lot of people did the same thing. He noticed a couple of bodyguards trailing him, not really all that alert and ready to go home. What could happen in such a peaceful little town? Most of the houses and small businesses were dark, the city was sleeping now. He reached his "mansion" quickly, the town only had a few streets, and everyone just walked. There were no transports besides a few beatup buses. He stepped inside the "palace" which was a modest little house, and noticed something wrong. The treasury was too low. He had left, and they had around 15 million, now they had about 2. He felt panicky, he had not authorized any purchases. The treasurer's head would roll... Suddenly the lights flickered on, and the few relatives that had come with him from Dark Fire Mercenaries popped up from behind the furniture. They all yelled "Surprise", but he didn't know what to be surprised about, people awake at 2, or his relatives stealing all the empires money. "Why the hell are we missing all this money?" The relatives quickly silenced, and started laughing. Zetro heard something in the distance, outside his house. It was a whining noise, similar to the hovercraft they had deployed during many of Dark Fire's campaigns. One small cousin opened a window, and he peered outside. There sat a beautiful white and gold PEG-X1 Pegasus Scout Hovertank, the tank his company was named after. Everything was polished, and it gleamed even in the dark. On the side was written "Best of the Best" and he laughed. This tribute to his stay as a pilot in the Whizkid's Pegasus tank "Best of the Best" was touching. They truly had been the best, their skills higher than any other unit at a 1/1 performance evaluation. He spoke softly, "Thank you everyone, thank you."
