Mail time...

This isn't really a technical question but I recently made a donation by mail from australia... How long does it take to reach randy from Australia? Its been about 1 week and 2 days now and I still have got any DPs!

Stupid stupid stupid, but thanks for donating :-). It normally takes 1 to 2 weeks to arrive assuming you sent it airmail of some form. Then Randy needs to go to the mail box cash the cheque? wait for cheque clearance, go to bank convert notes? what ever then he needs to code the dp to your account. I assume you gave him your empire name and your login name.
Next time log onto chat and talk to Gunner. I got 103 dp for 80 AUD, not bad hey :-)

So it will take longer than the mail time for the DP to be logged. I sent a donation about three weeks ago. Give two weeks for it to reach the States from Canada, so... what? Another week?

Well, I do know that there are some people much closer to where randy lives then you who have been waiting several weeks for their DP, so randy may actually be on vacation or some such.
As for time, I live one state over from where randy is, and I would count on it taking at least 2-3 days for him to even get the letter, not to mention giving any dp.

Bahamas......   *grumble* Well at least someone is getting a tan  . Oh well i guess i will wait for my DPs. Anyone know what happens if an empire is wiped out before they get thier DPs?

Meaning, that since the DPs are associated with the login and not the empire, you could leave, and start a new empire or join someone elses and still have the DP.

Sorry guys but I have to bring this up again. Is Randy on another vacation? This time its been 2 and a half weeks and still no DPs. How long does it usually take for mail to be shipped from Australia to the US, and then reach Arizona?

Randy has been on vacation for quite a while, though Wayward Son and Chad are there, ATM.
I'm not sure on typical Australia-US post times, but I am sure they are quite long, especially to reach a none-hub location such as Prescott. It depends greatly on the method you mailed it with.

Okay, I've just got my DPs (talk about strange coincidence). I've donated about 5 times so far and I've come to a conclusion that it takes from 2-3 weeks by mail. I think I'll start using paypal from now on.
