The playerless empire, the Union of New Fredericton, was deleted today, probably because of one of those time limits built into the game to weed out "dead empires". So, the "War of Reunification" has been called off on account of rain. I'll have to work up a suitable role-play reason why the war ended essentially before it began. Oh well...
