Well phooey...
      #65021 - 06/19/03 01:53 PM (156.34.209.44)

I now know what it's like to throw one's own weight against a locked door only to find it not locked at all.

The playerless empire, the Union of New Fredericton, was deleted today, probably because of one of those time limits built into the game to weed out "dead empires".

So, the "War of Reunification" has been called off on account of rain. I'll have to work up a suitable role-play reason why the war ended essentially before it began.

Oh well...

Andrew

Massive plague? All the people in the empire died before you could attack?

Plagues would leave the buildings behind...

No... I'm thinking the ruling barbarians probably decided that if they couldn't control the land, nobody would. Nothing but burned-out shells left... The carnage is just horrid...

Let's call it a profane, but massive volcanic eruption. That way at least we don't have any radioactive zones where our precious soldiers will get kind of, say, ...ill when entering...:)

Infra would be destroyed that way too. Easy explanation

Gazing a top his mount at the world below, the insideous Nev-God reached out his hand and delighted in the complete destruction he had wrought upon the unfortunate nation of Fredericton. His bellowous roar of a laugh could be heard across Neveron. He had wiped a nation from it's face, as if childsplay. He delighted in it...

Then he decided to go on vactaion, and the world went to poopoo...
