AeroTech 2 Vessel Technical Readout VALIDATED
Class/Model/Name: Falcon Medium Carrier Peragrine Tech: Inner Sphere / 3056 Vessel Type: WarShip Rules: Level 2, Standard design Rules Set: AeroTech2
Mass: 900,000 tons K-F Drive System: (Unknown) Power Plant: Standard Safe Thrust: 5 Maximum Thrust: 8 Armor Type: Lamellor Ferro-carbide Armament: 320 ER PPC 480 Small Pulse Laser 8 AR10 Launcher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== Built to be part of a new Carrier Squadron, the Falcon Medium Carrier has been designed in parrallel to the Pegasus Light Carrier while not as fast as the small carrier, the Falcon is still capable of 2.5G thrust and 4G Overthrust. Also by beieng 50% bigger the Falcon benifiets from greater Armor protection, increased organic Aerospace Fighter compliment, but also improved Dropship capabilites, the Falcon also benifiets from a greatly increased Anti-Fighter/Dropship weapons load, with the addition of AR-10 Launchers into the design. As for Fighter support capabilities the Falcon boasts a 20,000 ton fuel reserve allocated for fighter use, allowing for near continious fighter operation before refueling is needed.
==Capabilities:== The Peragrine is capable of a 2.5G sustained thrust, with the ability to achieve 4G's as needed, making the ship very nimble and fast compared to even some smaller warship's, the speed of the Peragrine is a major asset in running running down raiders or enemy Scouting Elements. The major offensive firepower of the Peragrine is found in the form of its 216 shipboard fighter's and it's 4 Archer Class Missile Dropships and 6 Lancer Class Intercept Carrier Dropships which when combined with the the Pegasus fighters and the Archers fighter's gives the ship a Combat Airgroup of 480 fighters, combined with the Anti-Ship/Dropship firepower of the Archers, The Peragrine is both well defended and capable of Anti-Shipping as needed, for defence of the ship itself the Peragrine mounts a impressive array of 320 Er PPC's and 480 Small Pulse Laser's, for long range striking power the Falcon is equipped with 8 AR-10 Launchers, this is mostly done in lending support to the Archer Missile Dropships. The Peragrine in turn carrys 2 Behemmoth class dropships for supplemental supplies and fuel for it fighters.
==Battle History:== None at this time
==Variants:== A slower Varient is being discussed, it would have enhaced Naval Grade Weaponry added, in effect becoming a Battlecarrier, the favored warship of the SHP.
==Notable Vessels & Crews:== Active Duty Falcon Peragrine
Under Construction Goshawk Osprey
==Deployment== At present there are 2 Peragrines on active duty, 2 under construction

That's a lot of gravdecks. Each one of them represents a strip of rec rooms and/or crew quarters about half a kilometer long (150m x Pi).
Otherwise, excellent, if pricey, carrier. It's got speed, armor, and good fighter/dropship capacity.

There is a legitimate reason for the xtra Grav Deck's, have you ever see what has happened when, Marines, Pilots and enlisted Navy Personal get together in the same place for sports or anything competive?, its like WW II. I did it the sense of common knowledge from when I was in the Navy.
