==Overview:==
Developed by the Storm Haven Protectorate, to be a emergency relief
vessel able to enter even a mid level combat enviroment to provide assistance
or evacuation to beleagured civilians.
==Capabilities:==
Equipped with massive 4,000 ton ships hosptial capable of handling extensive
emergency cases. Also the ship is equipped with quarters for 5,000 civilians
awaiting care or evac, the Storm Shield equipped on board with 71,095 tons of
prepacked relief supplies for rapid distrubtion to a disater site. The ship
also carries a mixture of light vehicles, infantry, battle armor and even
protomech armor to provide both security and manpower for relief operations.
During times of possible contested landings the Storm Shields 36 fighters
provide air/space cover. The ship also comes attached with 4 modified
Behemmoth Drop transports, for the deliver of needed supplies or evac of
civilians.
In order for the Storm Shield to enter some combat zones the desision was
made to heavily armor the ship and provide at least a light Cruisers
compliment of Anti-Fighter weapons on board the Storm Shield for its
protection and enable it if needed to engage a opponet in order to arrive at
its appointed mission.
