Want easy DP?

I was previously a Level 4 character, with a good investment in research, until I got attacked by a Level 5 player. Fair enough, all's fair in love and war as they say. However, even after I got knocked back down to level 1, he is still able to attack my square so I have no cities big enough to buy mechs.
So in desperation, I am making this offer.
Anyone who can attack and hold for a real week a CITY that belongs to Halcyon's Dragoons will be offered 1 DP. To be eligible you will need:
1) To declare the Grid Reference here - I will verify that it is indeed held by him, and give you the all clear to take it.
2) Announce when you have taken the city.
3) Every Monday, I will check all the announcements, and make one donation and tell Neveron to split the points as required.
4) The limit to this is holding the city for 4 weeks. After that, you can keep the city or dump it.
5) The only caveat to this, is if you capture a square that used to belong to me. There are only 7 such cities. In this case, you will be paid 4 donations upon ceeding the land to me.
6) There is also a limit to the number of DP I am willing to give (this is a game after all, and if things go that badly that I need to throw so many DP at it, then I may as well quit) I will announce if that DP limit is reached and I will honour my commitment to the end of that week.
I wish to ensure that Halcyon's Dragoons is brought to a level that I have sufficient time to rebuild and rearm before he can attack again. That is all.
Some might call this cheating, but if a Level 5 is going to repeated rape a level 1, that's an abuse of power. Here's another abuse of power. I can afford to give away DP, and I will use that fact to get him off my back.

in all fairness you were both level 4 when the fight started, and it was a fair fight.
and restrictions work both ways, your attacking him right now and he cant retaliate.

Contact me, if you have cities that you can let me have for 4 weeks I'll split the DP award with you, and have my FL transfer you nevdollars to compensate the loss of infra. Let me know if you want to do this.

That isn't true. If you are restricted then for every 1 attack you launch on someone they should be able to launch 1 attack in return. Sometimes this doesn't work all the time when the restricted empire is unfactioned, however.

Haha. That would be nice... But remember, you have to publish the Grid reference here, and the DP goes to whoever is holding the land, NOT whoever announced the location. So he could give it to you, and someone else could take it away from you, and both of you are then out of pocket.
So basically, the way restriction works, is that as long as I keep taking my land back, he can keep taking it back again from me?
L4 vs L5 was fair, but even number of attacks L1 Vs L5 can hardly be called fair. I've been attacked 11 days out of the last 14, (admittedly not all by him) and having to reclaim my land every time I log in, is starting to not get fun anymore - especially since work is getting busy! It's not necessarily about fairness anyway - one of the tutorials say "You are unlikely to make enemies by attacking someone, unless you attack them incesantly" (or words to that effect)
The first couple times, I simply took my land back, and offered him a NAP asking him to move on to easier targets. This is a game of war after all, and as I said L4 vs L5 was almost fair. If he left it at that, I wouldn't be doing this. He wanted to be persistent, and incessantly engage in a mostly one sided war. (L1 vs L5) now, I'm willing to bleed a little to see him bleed a lot.
Fighting a war by offering uninvolved parties inducement is nothing new after all. Look at the middle east conflict in real life. I believe Egypt wanted 12 Billion USD to get involved in a war with Israel.

Oh but you do not understand. It would NOT be taken back from me, I would hold it for as long as you paid DP then give it back to Halcyon.

I agree with you on this point. Hence my offer to take those cities, hold them for DP then give them back along with half the DP. You made no such stipulations other than that cities originally belonging to you be returned. So I will take advantage of your ill-conceived campaign if I can.
