If you can free up about $30, the Heavy Metal Pro programs are excellent (I saw you asked for "free" designers, but...)

I have the Drawing Board, but it doesn't have quite a few of the weapons/equipment I'm looking for (Heavy Gauss, RACs, Stealth armor, just to name a few). Besides HM, are there any other programs that have those (and are free)?

I'm not aware of others. You might ask around for the latest version of TDB, which may have the HGR and other recent weapons.
If not, I'm not aware of other free designers with those weapons.

Yup, I've still got BMD on here, but only because I need to consult it to find out engine rating/speed and jump range.

Hm, might as well ask my own question here...

... and whoever heard of a drug that causes pancreatic cancer?
