Xia, after a long day at the office where he has save the free-world on several occasions, and putting some serious hours behind a school desk at the mercy of some liberal-crack-smoking nut of a professor with twisted ideas and ideals, he is home. Xia spends some quality time with his beloved. Shortly before bedtime, he decides to check on his emp... And is greeted with a pop-up:
PIRATE ATTACK!!!, ZONE: 999, 999 We’ve come for the women!!!!
PIRATE ATTACK!!!, ZONE: 999, 998 We’ve come for the women!!!!
PIRATE ATTACK!!!, ZONE: 999, 997 We’ve come for the women!!!!
Etc…
Xia, curses the Nev-God with several unheard of and filthy unspoken profanities from centuries hence, and condemns him to the 985 level of Hades. *xia yawns* He then orders quick reactionary formations toward the pirates line of attack to prepare for the coming assault. Then he looks for any units in battle? Sure enough, one of his stealth towers has held up the vermin, and he claims the unit to take a look-see. Meanwhile he logs into Chat to see if any of his peeps are around? He may need their support?
Meanwhile, Xia informs his Empress that His people need Him, “the Scourge must be wiped clean!!” *Empress rolls eyes, and commands the Emperor to take out the trash. Then returns to her womanly duties of keeping the castle clean * He complies only because he wants to maintain his passive aggressive approach of total control. After he returns, his forces have arrived to do battle. He arrays the forces along the pirate’s entire length of attack, marking which zones are occupied and which are not?
After a cursory eval, and location of main pirate force located. The attack begins along the entire length of the front. Xia personally pilots a solitary Gek into the main pirate force, and lets the timer run. Shortly there after the remaining zones held by the pirates are retaken with no losses. Xia then orders his remaining forces to surround the now isolated and besieged pirate forces. The pirate forces are made up of a mixed batt, mechs, armor, inf, but nothing to be concerned with. The main attack force has not arrived so Xia goes to find his Empress, meanwhile the timer still runs and countdown to destruction of the pirate scourge is close at hand... 
Xia, forgets about the lone Gek. ABR kicks and it dies.  Returning Xia is furious, a nev-mil gone, curses the Nev-God again with several unheard of and filthy unspoken profanities from centuries hence, and condemns him to the 986 level of Hades. However, his ABR batt has arrived... He orders the attack and goes into Chat and ignores everyone save for his peeps. Types up a quick Situation Report and sends a Fac-wide nev-mail. Does some rudimentary emp maintenance, build, train, answer nev-mails, calculates fiscal plan for the week, and plots his eventual accendency as Nev-Lord. *xia yawns* Tiring and ready for bed, Xia refreshes the empire screen sure enough the battle is finished:

Xia, curses the Nev-God with several unheard of and filthy unspoken profanities from centuries hence, and condemns him to the 987 level of Hades. Uses one of his mechs to go see what’s left in the zone? Sure enough, a mech or two, some vehicles, and some inf... He attacks with another batt of inf and goes to bed.
In the morning, Xia awakes ready to embrace life and all that it offers. Checking in on Nev, is greeted with:
You have conquered: ZONE: 999, 999 You’re so d*mn sexy it ain’t funny!! You military stud you....
Xia checks to see what kind of salvage he now has acquired. Some MGs, Armor, VIS, and a twenty-ton foot actuator.... : / No mechs! Xia, curses the Nev-God with several unheard of and filthy unspoken profanities from centuries hence, and condemns him to the 988 level of Hades. He disperses his units and logs off.
Take it in the spirirt it's written.
