==Overview:==
The Sturm Liger is based on the the old Star League Black Lion battlecruiser,
but the design was upgraded to be more survivable in the mordern battlefield,
this was achieved by enlarging the design to the 1 million ton weight class.
With this increase, the armor of the new design was heavily upgraded, also
involved in this upgrade was the increasement of the ships fighter compliment
from 20 to 50 Aerospace fighters, also included in the upgrade was the upping
of the ships Capital Missile Weapons. But what was added to the design was
not found on the old Black Lion design, a full compliment of
Anti-fighter/dropship weapons.
With all the enhancements made to the new design the Sturm Liger is well
equipped forthe role of Flagship in light Battlegroup, but most important the
new ship will be able to conduct independent operations when and as needed.
