I do hope that is the right place for it..
Well, while claiming a road to a nearby lvl1 with my newly started lvl0 (gotta see what it is like to start nev these days...), I found this:
[NOOB] Mech Salvage Marketplace (level 6)
(97, 447)...actually, that same empire owns a hole bunch of zones in that area...and I cant reach my target now  ...also, said empire did not show up on the Map for me, and when I told the coords to a friend, said empire was setback to lvl0...
any xplanation for this?

Shows as lvl0.
I think you can just claim that zone. (i didn't want to try, as it would cost me 25M)
I think that empire was killed by pirates who later autodeleted, so it became that weird.

Status atm. Has been lvl5 just a sec ago. Having checked Salvaged Mech market, it has 3 AWS-8V, one 8Q and a CGR 1-A1. Maybe its really related to the salvage market...?

Had the problem a couple of days ago when going for a lvl 3, the path is claimable one at a time, not the claiming a region.
