------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== The Decimator is Randam Mechwerk's newest anti-battlearmour mech.
It incorporates a number of advanced features that are desgned to give the Decimator an edge when fighting Clan Elementals and other armoured infantry.
==Capabilities:== The Decimator mounts twin shoulder-mounted turrets fitting with 3 medium pulse lasers each, tied into a sophisticated targeting system capable of tracking multiple targets. This allows the Decimator to engage Elementals very effectively even in its rear arc.
Against other enemies such as mechs, the Decimator mounts a single ER Large Laser.
The secondary weaponry is made up of a single arm-mounted Flamer and Anti-Personnel charges in the legs.
Most at ease in a city or any other built-up terrain, it is handicapped in open terrain it is not fast enough to escape many lights and mediums and doesn't have the armour to stand up to heavies for long, but it has a savage bite against those who stray too close.
But aside from the unusual turret arrangements, the Decimator has a new and rather unusual feature, the Eelskin coating, which covers roughly 99% of the mech. This advanced polymer is roughly 8 times more slippery than Teflon, making it extremely hard for battlearmour to stay attached, even with magnetic clamps and manipulators. It also makes it much harder to attach explosives to the legs.
Infantry trying a leg attack or Swarm attack on the mech has the base to hit modifier increased by 2 points.
If the pilot attempts to brush off the enemy infantry with a +3 pilot modifier instead of the normal +4. The same modifier applies to Jumping mechs trying to shake off infantry.
The coating takes up .5 tons on a light and medium mech. 1 ton on heavies and assaults, but takes up no internal critical spaces.
==Battle History:== The Decimator is a new design and has seen little action so far.

Interesting mech, who do you see using this, like which House or Merc unit?
