This Design is based on a thread from the Terra Fox Class Destroyer, the idea originated when Hitman proposed that the Terra Fox would be a good ship to use in conjunction with his Davion Block III destroyers, mostly in the command/fighter support role, working on that thought I decided to see what kind of carrier I could build based on the Terra Fox, I had to up the weight 200,000 tons but what I achieved is still within my original thoughts, a moderately armed, heavily armored carrier much like the armored carriers of the Royal Navy of WW II.

The Fox's Lair is based on the Terra Fox Class destroyer which in turn was based on the Fox Class, but the size of the design has been increased in order to include many improvements, the Fox's Lair original compliment of of fighters also benefited from the new design increasing the number from 20 to 100. The designs Anti Fighter/Missile/Dropship secondary array is also a example of lessons learned from the time of the originals Fox's and Terra Fox's introduction, a layered array of ER PPC's, Large Pulse Lasers,Small Pulse Lasers, Gauss Rifles, RAC/5's and AMS provide the Fox's Lair with a versatile and powerful close quarters weapons suite.
The Armor and Structural Integrity have been bolstered in order to provide as much protection as possible for the Fox's Lair,
==Capabilities:== The Fox's Lair adds the feature of 6 droppoints for carrying troops and supplies much like its predecessor, but provisions have been made for some of the Fox's Lair to carry 2 Vengeance Class CV dropships to augment the Terra Fox's anti warship role.
==Variants:== One of the Fox's Lair ships is rumored to carry a new type fighter carrier that exceeds the Vengeance class in numbers of fighters carried, and the number rumored at for the warship in question is 4 of the new dropship CV's and 2 supply ships.
