The Black Cat was designed for the escort of convoys thru areas flagged for
known pirate and enemy warship activity, but the designation Escort Carrier
can be decieving at first, the Black Cat carries cruiser grade armor and is
equipped 18 Naval Grade 30 Cannons and 14 Naval Grade Multi AS/AF launchers,
rivaling even some cruisers in firepower.
But the true power of the Black Cat is its fighters and dropships, capable of
devestating a enemy battleship on lone convoy rading duty or if faced with
dual opponets such as cruisers the fighters and dropships take after one and
the Black Cat itself will go after the other one.
At present 9 Black Cats have been built, and with the exception of the 9th
ship of the class, all have seen intensive combat, but none as of to date have
been destroyed.
