Time to start up another DP Pool. I am listing a lot of information in this post for those who need it. If you are already familar with how to send funds etc, then just skip to that part and send away. Most of the info here I gathered for the newer donators I have spoken to and are asking the same questions over and over. I would also like to point out, that I personally am not trying to sell anyone anything. I am offering you nothing except to collect everyones individual money and pool it together to earn bonus DP from Neveron. Organizing all of these facts in an intelligent manner of course requires some of my time, and a small bit of effort. We are all simply pooling our meager resources to get a better gain from our combined donations. As for any other expectations you my have had from this donation pool, forget it! I am only offering you a chance to get 2DP for the price of 1DP [less any transaction fees charged by your method of payment]. As for what you get by donations...before you decide to donate to neveron, you should have gone to the donation page and read thru exactly what a donation is in the eyes of Neveron. I will not send in the donation until I have $1,000 or more in order to get the double DP bonus. To keep things as simple as possible, the minimum donation will be $10 USD. After deducting the fees, your earned DP will be less than 20. Should you want less than 20 DP, try to buy it from players in Chat, or donate directly to Neveron via the donate tab. All net donations will be rounded DOWN to the nearest whole DP. If you short your doantion 9 cents [$10.91], it will still be rounded DOWN to the whole DP. Please remember to include your chat or forum nick, as well as the login where you want the DP sent to for all donations. Please be sure to spell the login name correctly, or everyones DP will be delayed! Please be sure to double check your spelling. Include detailed explanation if needed. Things like spaces, underscores, caps etc need to be very clearly stated. For those of you who dont have Credit Cards, PayPal account, or would like to avoid the various fees...I will also be accepting other forms of payment. I will accept money orders or bank/ teller checks for this. I WILL NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS! Money Orders: U S Postal Service Money Orders Western Union Money Orders Money Gram Money Orders I will also consider bank draft/teller checks from Major US Banks. Please contact me directly for this option. Please remember to keep your copy of such items for tracking / refunds etc if the need arises due to things like lost mail. I can only send in what cash I have received and am not responsible for lost items. Send these donation items to the following address: P O Box 23391 Rochester, NY 14692 Paypal Paypal is the most common way pools have been done in the past. Your donation's sent via PayPal will be charged fees by PayPal, based on where you send it from, and what type of cash funds you send. So, either send in extra to cover the fees, or I can simply deduct it from your cash sent, with the remaining balance converted to DP. I copied these fees for the various countries from Paypal's website. Please check there for the latest fees and conversion rates before sending any new donations. It is up to each individual what amount to send and consider your fees accordingly. Fees per transaction USD 2.9% + $0.30 USD CAD 3.9% + $0.55 CAD GBP 3.9% + £0.20 GBP EUR 3.9% + €0.35 EUR AUD 3.9% + $0.40 AUD Should PayPal change the rates or calculate your fees differently, there is nothing I will let you know the amount I receive if you would like to know. Please be sure to check your calculations carefully! ie: send $20: I'll subtract the fee [$20 x 2.9% = $.58 + $.30 flat fee = $.88 USD]...you get whats left over sent in for donation. [$20 - $.88 = $19.12 x 2 = 38.24DP - this amount will be rounded down to 38DP] If you want $20 donated, in order to receive 40 DP, then send $20 + extra to cover the fees. [$20.91 x 2.9% = $.61 + $.30 = $.91 fee, $20 net donation, or 40 DP] PayPal: Email: NOSPAMShadowMasterCM@yahoo.com [remove the word NOSPAM for actual email] Personally, after talking to many players, i think we can support a DP Pool as often as 1 per month. There have been several players who have stopped donations. There have also been new players who have begun donations. There are also some players who, with a lil time, may decide to donate again as well. Others may not have heard about an existing pool. Still others are holding back to see how things turn out after updates etc. I totally understand any cautions or concerns that people might have. Please watch this thread for more updates as things progress! For those of you who may not know, I also opened a Irc Channel '#DP_Pool'. I will update the topic there as well. You can also ask questions here or in the chat channel, or PM me either place. I will respond as soon as I can either way. I try to check #DP_Pool daily. Forums I get to every few days. Sorry if my responses here are a lil slow. Please do NOT PM me every day after you have sent your funds, asking when it will go in, or how much I have got so far of the $1000 minimum. I can not predict when exactly we will reach the $1,000 point. So obviously I can not give you a date when you will get your DP. Some Pools may run 3 weeks, others may run 5 or 6 weeks. It will all depend on everyones personal donation situation. I can not guess how quickly any pool will be ready to go in. I will not send the Pool in until we reach $1,000 + I suggest if you need your DP immediately, DO NOT use the DP Pool. The donations will go in when they go in. I try to reply to every PM or message that I get. I have spent a lot of time on past pools responding to 'did you send it in yet?', 'where is my dp?', 'how much do you have so far?'...and so on. Now I just need the last few players to actually send in thier payments, and then I can start on closing this pool... Now the money has been sent via ECheck from PayPal...which means I have to wait a few business days for them to clear. This is the first pool I have had donations sent via ECheck...so Im not sure exactly the process involved...but three donators used them this time around. Since there is a delay in using them...I advise you to send the funds ASAP when a pool is announced open to your PayPal acoount. Then you can send your 'Instant' payment to the DP Pool when ever you are ready to do so. So once the funds drop into my account, I will then transfer them to my credit card account. I will have the donation profile all set up on Neveron and waiting. Once the funds are there to cover the donation, Ill send it in and you all should get your DP pretty much instantly. I will update the topic in #DP_Pool as each step is completed so you dont have to try to catch me in chat to get an update. Once I post the DP has been sent, if you do not have yours on the login you expected, please send me a PM immediately so we can sort it out. For those of you who are still dragging your a$$, I will fit you in this pool as long as you send an INSTANT PayPal donation no later than Wednesday. I dont expect the EChecks to clear before then, so I might as well accept new donations. DP Pool for Nov / Dec 2007 has been opened, filled and is now in the process of closing...you have till the evening of Dec 11th to get your funds into my PayPal account or you are out of luck till next month. -------------------- Is it true?
