How do I swap Mech Pilots

how do you remove mech pilots so you can put someone else in i can't seem to figure it out

so um because i bought a mech and it came with an 8/8 pilot i have to buy the pilot another mech to get him out of the one i want?

yes. Before you purchase the new mech, select existing pilot. You should get an option to select the pilot you want the first mech to be moved to, then when you purchase the new mech, it goes to the 8/8 pilot, and the mech you have will go to the pilot you indicated. supposedly

Unfortunately, you actually purchased that 8/8 pilot. You needed to select where the pilot was to come from with the buttons located above the market mechs. Once you select the pilots, THEN you purchased said mech.
The suggestions here are offering you options to try to fix this error.
