unfortunately, the nuclear mines hidden in the planetary debris belt detected the Leviathan's entrance via the IR spike generated by using a KF drive. the leviathan is reduced to molten slag, all hands dieing, and all personell aboard the werewolf die a slow death as they suffocate, due to their life support systems being knocked out by the EM pulse generated by the nuclear explosions. further more, millions die on the planet's surface, the EMP knocking out all comminications in empires, leaving the pirates free to wreak havoc on the now uncoordinated great empires, while the smaller ones survive due to their relative insignifagance.

no, a disruption like that, cuased by the ionozation in the atmosphere, would only last for a couple of days, maybe a week at the most. those empires would only be severely crippeled, not dead. but thats only if their people are as loyal as they think........

The loss of the warriors onboard the Werewolf, and the support vessels is somewhat saddening, but the Werewolf itself remains intact. The vessel is recrewed to the point where it can jump, and it leaves the system.
