I suspect its been done, but....
A Davion refit for captured Dragons.
Swap the LRM 10 for an SRM 4 (1 ton of ammo)
Swap the AC5 for an AC10 (2 tons of ammo)
It's no longer a long-range plinker, but I think the Davions would like the speed and firepower.

Now all you got to do is get a Davion mech warrior to stoop to piloting a Drac Dragon.

I realized that was a MAJOR hurdle. Yet spoils of war are spoils; and it would be humiliating but better than being disposessed.

I agree, and a veteran mech warrior would turn it to his or her advantage. Like making it into a "War trophy" to be used against its makers... But a lesser pilot (Average or green) could not do it well. Or it could be used as a OPFOR training mech or as a part of a raiding force; if combined with other captured mechs and vehicles.
