At a given to-hit number the LRM-20 will hit with (marginally) more missiles on average than 4 LRM5s, so it's more accurate.
Similarly, a pulse laser operating at to-hit numbers of 10 (1-in-6 hits) is more accurate than 36 normal lasers operating at to-hit numbers of 12 (1-in-36 hits).
Anyways, on this particular design, he has 6 LRM-20s, not one, so he already has 6 opportunities to hit something. Presuming his 1/2 cruiser doesn't get gibbed by an Inferno Arrow IV beforehand.
