Got a reply from Wayward_Son via email
He is aware of the game being offline
He stated he will be working on the game today, 8/30/2010, once the office for the 'host' opens and he can gain access to the servers.
Keep in mind, the servers are located in PST, which means the office wont open up there till nearly noon on the east coast.
I have no idea what exactly is broken, nor how long it will take to repair things...so dont start asking whats taking so long etc.
Just to clarify one fact, the game has only been offline 10 days, not 3 weeks plus, as some people had been saying in chat. Yes, the outage was 9 days to long, but lets not make the situation worse by making crap up.
When I have more info, I will update this post.

the game came back online about 6 hours ago
so yes, after another day lost to repairs, it ended up being offline total, just over 12 days...
thats still far short of 3 weeks+, that was being said several days ago
As for the game...it does still seem to be having some issues
Some people are having issues seeing the login page:
1. clear your browser history
2. make sure your browser is set to reload the page every visit
3. try using www2. or www3. neveron.com if www. is not working right
I actually googled www.neveron.com, and it pulled it up right away. worked fine for a while, then i got the 'It Works!' page a few more times later. This may be various servers have stored the 'it works' page in cache, and it should clear out over the next day or so.
Not really sure what Wayward_Son fixed, or even if the job is completed yet. I will try to get a reply from him via email on the matter.

http://neveron.com seems to be working most often; I still receive "Website is working!" off of the WWW URL...
However - training seems to not be working again... last worked less than 6 days ago, but more than 3.... FYI.

there seems to be a 'new' [see comment above] error message when the daily updates are running
the updates run around 5 am SERVER time, which will vary to your local time, based on whether or not your time zone uses Daylight Saving Time.
Arizona, USA [where the servers are located] DOES NOT recognize DST, so server time stays the same all year long.
once the updates are completed [usually about a 30 minute process] then those "errors" and other random 'lag' will go away.
