I have to sale one of my empires, cause I don't have the time to overview them all. So here is one of my "fun" empires.
It consists completely of captured zones. almost nothing was build myself. The empire exists since january '03, belongs to a faction and has no enemys let out of LW.

Except someone doesn't have 100$ for a LVL 7 and wants to pay 10$ or so for a LVL4, only to get a better start

for 10 dp's I could make a lvl4 in less then a month and have more fun.
I just saw a lvl7 with 247dp's and 1bill go for 150$

The only reason level 7s went for $100 was the empire limits and people quitting Neveron. Krynn, you have a stratitfied view of things... level 4s are quite big to the Newbie, and indeed they do take a period of time to build. It seems unlikely to me that you could, indeed, take a level 0 to level four in a NevMonth with a mere 10 DP. While possible, it relies on empires being nearby that range up to level 3 or even 4 and have weak defenses.
I would, if I were a 'newbie', much prefer to purchase a ready-made level 4 with 10 DP.

You cruel jerk. That's just sick. Why would you want odds like that? It's not entertainment, it would be over too fast. Besides, that's a big waste of a Nemesis IMO.

Thats not the reason for the lvl7 I was talking about got sold yesterday, and I know many higher lvl empires going cheap as dirt for what they have.
