bear in mind and this info is for the new players if there are any, that sometimes your mechs will come up with flagged as damaged. this is a a bug just check your mechs on the info sheet for critts etc if there are none your good to go. sometimes the manual flag option will work sometimes not. ive got supposed damaged mechs that are fine for over 2 yrs now lol.

To clarify this a little further, when you click on 'Mechs Only' from the units page, it will show all your empires Mechs, and also show a 'status' column. If ANY of your Mechs are in transit, or battle, or waiting for a LC to move, or do not match the origianl profile data EXACTLY for that unit, it will status other than 'ok'. If the unit needs some ammo reloaded, it will say low ammo, even if only 1 piece of ammo is missing. A few armor got knocked off in the last fight? You will see 'damaged' for status. Other damaged status include 'Critical', which reflects there is more extensive damage to it.

The issue mentioned above, is most likley refering to upgraded mechs. If you have added armor to any part of the mech, it will no longer match the ORIGINAL mechs profile. The program that checks for damage doesnt know the difference between 10 missing armor, or 10 extra added armor [from an upgrade], so it will show as 'damaged', or maybe 'critical'. When you try to 'repair' this damaged mech, it will say that the unit doesnt need any repiars, and then for the moment, the damaged status will go away. Next time you open the mech page, it will likely show that same mech as damaged again. As mentioned above, you can pretty much ignore this message, unless you have recently been in a battle. Simply view the unit info page to checkif the unit actually has any damage or not.

As a further suggestion...to help keep tract of these 'special' mechs. When you name your mechs, add some special character to the name, like maybe a + or a *, to all the mechs with upgrades. You can also try naming all your upgraded mechs with a colored name. Normal colors are colored yellow. You could name your upgraded mechs with blue or green colored names. The idea here is to help you identify the mechs that might show up as damaged, when they are really not. As your empires get larger, and you get more and more units to keep track of, you dont want to have to keep wasting time rechecking the same units over and over for damage that isnt there.
