Holding a massive faction Tourny in FFA

I will be entering the FFA on April 8th at 11am EST with members of my faction to defend my 5 billion entrance fee and that of my other faction mates. I would like to arrainge for at least one more lvl 13 or 12 to enter to make it a real event. Id like factions to sign up here and those without faction wide support who wish to jump in to place them selves on this list as a "free agent" once 2 sides can be created we will pick from the free agents to join a side. This should be fun and my hope is to get 20 or 30 people in the FFA for a day of fun.

Just for curiosity's sake: How many players signed up for the FFA event so far?
By the way, is the FFA up and running with leader pay outs working properly? Does the FFA 'food pellet dispenser' work?

Well, let's see: Five - plus TGA - plus any visitors showing up at random - plus all the lower level alt(ernate) account empires to help fill in the gaps (on the way too big [at least IMVHO] FFA map) and or to provide some fast and easy rep to climb the FFA ranking ladder to drain the pot with your higher level main empire  , so basically at least approx. 6 x 5 (legal limit, max. 5 empires per player) = 30 participants in the FFA to expect; plus any randomly showing up visitors? - Congratulations, mission accomlished, FFA shooting gallery adequately filled for some action.
Hopefully there'll be more real players around - and less alt accounts required to fill the gaps, on the other hand: a target is a target ...

I'd be more concerned with why he has time to manually hand out DP for being in the FFA they were getting paid to be in, instead of manually handing out the morale bonus we paid him for or manually doing the raffle or even writing the promised update...

We're back to where all he can do is write text (which he apparently won't), give out dp, or try to learn to code in the deployed system and break more crap.
In other words, since another codefest is probably impossible, not to mention deadly, whenever it is that Nev putters into its grave, it will look like it does right now.

The funny part is, he has ALWAYS been like this. Most of you guys posting here (that are left) are intelligent enough to realise SM has no hope. His IQ is probably around 80. There is no hope for Neveron, there never was any hope with SM in charge. He was just good enough to fool us (our own damn fault) for a while.
Give it up, spend your time doing something else, this game has no future. It never did under SM.

Actually, I think it was a nice thought from SM. Mis-directed sure, nothing to do with the topic, obviously, but, nice to see SM giving back something to the players.

The FFA event is getting warmed up all on its own...
people have been in and out of it all night...had as many as 21 units in there at one point already
Some larger empires have been joining and the pot has been over 10B for several hours now
make sure you pop in and get yyour share of all that!

The last favour SM ever did for me was to delete my empire.
I say SM has never done me any favours. I'm 100% sure he would tell you the same. I don't think you either know me or know SM very well (or at all).

Yeah, all of us that had an issue fixed got a favor done. Comon guys, get with it. I mean the fact sm gave out some dp during the ffa tells you hwe was doing more favors. And since phred didnt get any, well thats cuz sm hates him.
The only thing I would come close to saying favors being granted would be thye log in abusers. The fact nothing was done about it would make me come even close to that way of thinking.
But then im clueless and will never get a clue.
Im not hoc, and have never been. I have argued with alot of them since I dont agree with some of the thinking. I am not anti hoc. I have argued with those that are for the same reasons.
Sm fixed the issue of the original problem when he purchased nev.
Does that mean i was given a favor?

Seriously. It is a good thing sm did give out some dp for the ffa. No one would be needed to be paid for a simple comment on a decent gesture. If you feel they would need to be paid, then I understand WHY you have an anger issue. The bad comments ARE NOT going to get you in good with sm or even most the others.
Now sm has done things to piss alot of people off. Some of it is needed to rebalance or even fix, the game, some of it isnt. Some things werent thought thru as much as they should have, but it isnt the first time somoene found out the hard way they are not perfect.
Now I agree that bucs last comment was a little extreme. Interesting though that someone would brag about something like that. Guess phred thinks hes the only one that keeps logs, though I am still waiting on the logs for info of what phred has said sm told him.
