2nd line clan mech: The Viper. Looks like a jet with no wings but arms and a legs.
Baboon looks bad too.

The old 3025 Vulture. They really DID make it look like a scarecrow, just like stated in the old 3025 TRO.

No no no...the 3025 Vulture is a 40-ton 'Mech, 6/9/6 move, AC/2, medium laser, flamer, MG. Intended as a pure urban 'Mech. Not particularly useful against 'Mechs unless you change out the AC for a large laser and some heat sinks.
Come to think of it, I can't remember offhand if they reprinted this 'Mech when they reprinted the 3025 TRO. I have 2 copies of it, the one with an Atlas on the cover, and an old, VERY beat-up copy with the old Marauder on the front cover. I've had that one for about 13 years now. :P

What you're describing is actually the Vulcan. It's not one of the unseens so it actually was reprinted in the revised edition. The only mech in the game that has ever been called the Vulture is to my knowledge a Clanner heavy mech.

Two things:
1) The Yeoman is increadibly ugly. It has bad feet, and the missile launchers seem out of proportion, and the cockpit looks like an easy target.
2) When I first saw the Hoplite (TRO 3050) I thought for the longest time that it only had one leg, because you can only see one leg in the picture. What little you can see of the other leg I took to be a support for the "one leg."

I'd say any mini coming from TRO 3060 or 3067...but since the art in those books is so bad, the sculpters could only do so much.

The Yeomen does look awful, but personally I've always despised the Urbanmech. If I were a MechJock I wouldn't want to be seen piloting a big walking egg. The Urbanmech is an eye sore.

The 3060 Jagermech III.
I just put that thing together and boy is it UGLY.
I can honestly say it is the ugliest mech that I have and I have a lot of them.
A close 2nd has to be the 3067 Perseus. It's a wannabe Orion, and not a very good one if fact.

Some miniatures do look pretty bad. But the ones I hate are the poorly-designed ones. At a tournament I played at a few years ago, one of the guys had a Tarantula and a Stone Rhino (not in the same force). They take up a huge and hideous number of hexes. I think 'Mechs should be built to occupy only a single hext, with no overhang whatsoever (unless it's unavoidable, like on the Hollander.)
Which reminds me. The Hollander is another pet hate. A friend has it, and the thing falls over all the time because it is imbalanced...

The Kintaro with it's battle ship hips, football player shoulder pads and it's monkey looking head. Was someone sampling Columbias other imports or what? The Baboon is a close second and the Albatross lives up to its name.

Grand Titan minerature suxks big time, as does the Kodiak, which is my favorite mech BTW. Other bad minis are the Huron Warrior, Dragonfly, Grasshopper, and the list goes on and on. Oh, and just because I wasn't here when it was first said, the 2nd Line Viper does not suck!!! It's an awesome mech and mini, now go find a chair, flip it over, and sit on whichever of its legs is the sharpest! Adios, and Blessed Be.

I dunno, I bought a supposed "Marauder" lately, and it barely resembles it, is harder than hell to put together(still working on it) and has lots of little parts.

I take it that it was one of the "Reseens"? Frankly, I think they'd have been better off leaving them Unseen, the new art and subsequent minis are just hideous IMHO.

Ugliest mini/mech? Hrmmmmm..... I would have to vote for all the new casts of the old CBT mechs. The marauder looks a bit like an Uber Locust. *Shudder* I prefer The old minis.

The KRAKEN mini, pretty close to the drawing, including the stupid legs. Is it fighting a fierce wind or just ready to take a squat?
aways hated the plastic RIFLEMAN that came with the FASA 3rd Ed Box Set.
Marauder IIC was the hardest one I tried to put together, might have looked cool if I could have gotten it straight and level.

The worst looking in the game...the 3058 Longbow...the worst to put together are some of the new Reseen mechs...they have lots of small parts and don't want to stay glued together.
I haven't seen some of the newer DA miniatures that have made the cross over yet, so I am sure there might be more pushing to take the title as the worst looking mini in the game.
