Top 100 doesnt mean crap. Heck I have empires that are lvl 5 in there.
Never say your too strong for there is allways someone stronger.
If your so brave tell us who you are, true neveron players dont hide their empire behind a screen name, they stand behind what they say. I have a feeling you're not so brave as the many I consider true players if you have to spy on people.

May I ask one thing? how the heck are you avoiding wars if you are feeding material to the opposition? wouldnt this start wars that would never have begun in the first place if the opposition thought that the enemy had more forces on a certain side than he really did?
Besides, man, this is a game! why be paranoid about knowin so much about an enemy? if that empire sees that you seem to exploit every little flaw in his defenses, wont he get the idea that you are doing something, such as spying, and call in as many big friends as possible to take you out, as well as spreading what you are to the rest of the players not only gonna FUBAR your empire, but also gain you more enemies in the end?
And if you really arent spying against the lil guys, then tell me, how do you find a way to get info on the empires?

This is one of the funniest posts i have seen. You cannot spy unless that empire LETS you in. I have done that "spying" trial before, trust me it doesn't work very well and its not worth it. Anyways, you are only making yourself a target to other ppl who may actually consider something like "spying" a threat. If someone wants to find you, trust me they will.

upon thinking a little bit I realized that all you'd have to do to find out he was in your empire, is to look for really crappy grammar from your new recruits.

Spying in factions. We all know it happens, but really, the major factions all have training outposts, so the damage is minimal, plus, what can you really tell them? What they sell, what mines they have, sure it's somewhat valuable, but a good faction will always defend each other, so the attacking of a few players will be negated by a solid defence, and a MASSIVE counterattack. A faction worth it's salt will defend it's mates, so unless you can sell a WHOLE faction on your 'intelligence' you won't get she-ite. Grow some stones and catch your own kill.

Well though you all think that the Faction Leaders never come here and read the threads your just kidding yourself. Also now that you have come out and said that your spying guess what, nothing on Nev changed. The FLs all have thier truseted people that they share all infomation with. Then you have the people that are in the faction but outside this inner circle. So a spy that is in a faction had to:
1) gain the trust of the FL or someone in that inner circle to get any real information. and FLs pick up on members that ask to many questions
2) give information that any empire can get, i.e. largest city, who is in that faction etc.
Now the only thing that might be helpful is telling how bad a stupid faction member put in faction mail. A smart empire in a faction lets the FL know whats needed and who bad his military is not the whole faction.
Anyhow, all I can say is if your in Kizo, I do many tests of information leaks. Some real some not. Then I listen to the grape vine thus letting me know who has loose lips.

As with Flameseeker, I'm fairly public with my affiliations. And Nimon is right. Only one of my factions (I'm in 3) has public defense info in the faction mails, and then only from the top down. Empires reply to the defense coordinator one to one.
Also, any good faction leader probably knows the other empires and factions of the majority of his members.

i am strong aganst 2-3 attacks at the same time... but anymore than that you could take me down... you dont have to be very strong to kill a larger empire... if you attack in numbers.

while i understand what he meant by this spying business, (i used to do work for the intel officer of LSA, back when LSA actually existed) he came across all wrong.
as for your hiding your empires, (which i can understand, but not condone) you're going about it all the wrong way. if you were smart, you'd get people worked up enough to put a SIGNIFICANT bounty on your head, then turn in one of your empires and collect the bounty.
and while i hardly ever post on the forums anymore, those who know me in chat (same name) know that i don't hide behind vague statements.
just to make things interesting, i'll put up a $25,000,729 (not a typo) bounty out for your 5 empires.
