Its a little more than pretty low attacking a level 2 empire with virtually no military forces.
my empire of Razia is a peaceful empire only conserned with enjoying the marvels of this world
your atacking my empire is a black spot on your honor.
eat [censored] and die.
I am making a distress call to all empires in the area of zones 319, 421 and 319, 422 and putting a bounty of $1,000,000 for the return of the said zones to their rightful owners.

Ok, several things:
1) He has no way to tell WHAT military you have, so don't accuse him of attacking an empire that he knew had no defense.
2) There is no such thing as a peaceful empire. There are empires that would like to avoid war, but if you do not defend what you have then you will die.
3) How about you go check the newbe forum and read that thread about respect in LW that I wrote?
4) 1,000,000 is not going to get you any help at all. It will cost someone at least 25 million for the drop zone, another 5 million for attack costs (assuming that they are close to the same level as your attacker), and then there are still the moblization costs to cover.

agreed. Unless you have a faction that is willing to lose money for your survival, 1 mil won't even cover it.
besides. How will you transfer cash without a faction?
Still, if you play it cool maybe someone will help you out.

Happy peaceful empire. Don't upset anyone. Doesn't work unfortunately.
Neglected my defence and paid the price. Got attacked and yes I felt the same way as you do. Many DP to get vehicles and lost heaps of jeeps, but survived.
Started to build a army and unfortunately had most of them training when got whacked again. Bad empire management on my part.
Survived, licked my wounds, and started building again. Guess what ? Attacked again.
This time, better army and won. Yahoo.
Along came the threat of pirates. So joined a faction with goals similar to mine.
Neveron is a war game. Lots of predators out there and us peacefuls look like prey. However I intend not to be prey. My intention for my empire may be described as Sheep with sharp teeth and claws, wolves and foxes beware.
If you want to survive with your goals, then become a Switzerland. Build up a small army and train them up. Get a BV to population ratio of 1 or better. Join a faction, there are several which do not LW and are peaceful. Fight in arenas, learn how to defend and after a while you will win arena battles.
It is the only way a peaceful empire can survive.

I've never been a peaceful empire, but I have lost an empire and gotten crippled half a dozen times.
1st time- Gangbanged by level 7, level 4, and the level 5 I was attacking. (I was a 10k level 4, attacking a 20-25k 5)
2nd time- Level 5 merc drops on me, (10k level 4 again, the attack dropped me to level 2) I didn't survive this one.
3rd time- Level 6? Raider attacks my other level 4 (12k, sigh, when will I learn), transfers my land to various Gen members including a level 8 Free Pilots Guild Empire.
4th time- Level 5 is attacked by 6-7? HoC raider, I lose 10k BV but land is returned.
While reclaiming land, another empire takes the 7k pop city and deletes it.
5th time- Raider...can't remember which faction..possible HoC...kills several thousand BV in my level 5(? maybe 4) but I get my land back.
So not quite half a dozen, but I get hammered a lot. Just rebuild.

For future referrence, it might be a good idea to ask your attacker nicely if he'll let you go, return infra (at his leisure) etc. All of it is up to him, but if you ask nicely he may give it back. Keep in mind that unless your empire name is "I AM A PEACEFUL EMPIRE" then people are going to assume you're just like every other shark in the game. The goal is to be the bigger and meaner shark, to be faster to the smaller sharks and get full first...
I doubt even having an empire name like that would help, but then you really would only be attacked by opportunistic bastards  Join a faction, a defensive one. I think someone else already outlined this in a post on this thread so I won't go into details. Learn how to fight, join a defensive faction and get your ratio closer to 1/1 (1 Pop for every 1 BV at low levels is very doable). Scorpions, Strikers, Hunters, Hetzers and Vanguards are all excellent vehicles for defense, as they carry a range of weapons which are potentially deadly at many ranges.
Check the Newbie forums for more advice on placement and such, there are some excellent posts that I think are worth a read even to those who fancy themselves more experienced than the average newbie. I have a level 8 and most of the time the forums can teach me something new when someone explains things, so give 'em a read.

No I'm sorry. We're full of "Opportunisitc Bastards", but we still have some "haha" class and "I'm so sorry, I hope everything's okay" class seats available, but get 'em fast. (Especially the "haha" ones.)
