I reckon that the ability to surrender your faction in an fwar would be desirable. A button somewhere. It wouldn't be instant - I suggest it take 30 nevdays and be cancellable at any time during that period. Maybe make surrender payment to the winner be 1.5* normal or something.
Comments/suggestions?

Surrender would proceed as if the faction lost at 50%. People get restricted, Randy eventually pressed the defector button...

We need something. Because Fwars cut to deep and win or lose both sides get hurt way beyond what would be considered decent levels. It is my hope sothing like this will be accomplished. Of course we still need to get rid of the 30% surrender rate for FLs. But that another long and sad story.

Good idea, especially with the delay and the money loss, but wouldn't the faction be K.Oed in 30 days if they really needed to use the surrender button? If you really need it, then you are dead. Bad luck to those who are in that position.

It's more so that If you negotiate a settlement, you can surrender your faction and avoid having to decom 10% and have a zone taken, or 30% in the case of FLs.
But yes, down with 30% fl surrender.
