Cheating: The empire Nargothrond was found to have been abusing a loophole in the faction war protection log that allowed empires to declare war while still enjoying faction war protection. The empire was fined 6 Nevmonths of average level 5 income for each offense and had his most recent DOW ended as if the time limit ran out, resulting in a -1 skill penalty to the entire empire. We work very hard to create features and options that allow players to play the game in an enjoyable way, and abusing loopholes like this instead of reporting them creates a lot of extra work for us, and limits all options within the game. Easily 50% of the code in the game revolves around preventing cheating, and far too many game systems have failed because of abusive behavior such as this.

Hoppy being as how you've not even made an offer on the empire, it is a moot point. I have offers on it atm, just weighing options.

jake, i dont understand how you can support hoppy, some peolpe just only deserve to be ignored, that post wasnt any question it was a clear insult to eggy and shouldnt be tolerated in any forum, also hoppy should learn that education is not only learned in school or high school, and he is showing that he has no education, no respect and no tolerancy, he "might" be inteligent but he has no education.
in case for you education is so important, and yoo want to know it for giving my opinion more or less weight, I recently ended my university career in telecomunications enginiering, My finall project was marked with 10.0 (the highest posible mark) im in process of registering my project and both the company im working now for and the university itself is interested in the patent of it.
Sincerelly you shouldnt take it into acount, you should just say that hoppy is a child that for some reason is ungry with eggy, would like to know the reason thuogh.

to be honest, I really dont know Hoppy, but i do know that the last large empire that was sold by HoC, that attacked HoC, suffered a horrendous abuse. If any of you don't think it happened or don't know about it then really you have no business posting about it. Unfortunately I know way too much about what happened. It is true that personal insults do not belong, but its also a viable question to ask.
And just for that reason BUYER BEWARE!

From reading transcripts of tech support calls, I can say that if the call starts "I am MCSE-certified and a network admin", the caller will be incredibly stupid and not at all qualified.
I believe the same is happening here. If someone has to boast that they went to college, then they are the intellectual equivalent of a cockroach.

Well if last said empire had NOT attacked HoC to begin with, it prolly would have been left alone.
But being as how Lumpy thought it would be really cool to FDoW DBF at the start of the Vegas NevCon.............
This empire is for sale, what the owner does with it after that is his or her own business.
Perhaps they will be smart enough to not attack HoC with it afterwards, and perhaps to NOT piss off people who have a login to the empire.
